Beijing, SANA- The organizing committee of 19th Asian Games held a reception for the participating sports delegations, including Syria’s, in Asian Games Athletes Village in Hangzhou.
Vice head of the General Sports Federation and head of the Syrian sports delegation participating in the tournament, Omar al-Aroub, presented the shield of the Syrian Olympic Committee to the organizing one.
The ceremony included raising the Syrian flag accompanied by playing of the national anthem.
This is Syria’s 11th participation in the Asian Games, the last one was in the 18th Asian Games held in Indonesia in 2018.
