Baghdad, SANA- Syria and Iraq discussed bilateral relations in the military and security fields and means to enhance them in a way that serve the two brotherly countries.
This came during a meeting between Iraqi Defense Minister, Thabit Muhammad Al-Abassi and Syrian Ambassador to Baghdad, Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah, on Wednesday at the minister’s office, according to a statement by the Iraqi Defense Ministry.
Both sides discussed the issues of common interests of the two countries.
‘The meeting dealt with uplifting the level of coordination in the field of security, combating terrorism, exchanging information, pursuing terrorist cells, controlling borders between both countries, in addition to many issues of common concern’, Ambassador al-Dandah said in a statement to SANA correspondent.
