Tartous, SANA- Seven plastic artists participated in the activities of the Oil Painting Forum at the 11th Dalbah Mashta al-Helu Festival for Culture and Arts tilted “Echo of Berries and Silk Festival”.
The Festival is organized by Culture Ministry, in cooperation with the Charitable Cultural Forum Foundation in Mashta al-Helu town in the Syrian province of Tartous.
Works of the participating plastic artists reflected various themes such as beauty of nature , humanization of things.
Speaking to SANA reporter, Plastic artist Samer Ismail said that the forum is an important cultural phenomenon, and its continuation under these circumstances is a challenge to the hard conditions.
Ismail, who is the supervisor of the forum, noted that the forum attracted a number of plastic art experiences of unique artistic value.
Plastic artist Ammar Shawa highlighted the role of art in spreading awareness on visual culture and its importance to society.
The plastic artist Ismail Nasra, indicated that the forum showed the civilized aspect of Mashta al-Helu town, which has turned into an open museum of paintings and artistic sculptures by well-known and famous artists in Syria.
Plastic artist Nabil Al-Samman affirmed that the forum is an opportunity to exchange experiences and create a state of dialogue in addition to developing artistic taste.
Artist Bassam Bedoun noted that he participated in a needle-carving painting on polished stone, which requires precision and skill of focus.
