Al-Ghabbash , Saudi counterpart discuss means to enhance joint Arab health cooperation

Geneva, SANA- Health Minister, Dr. Hassan al-Ghabbash, discussed with his Saudi counterpart, Fahad bin Abdurrahman al-Jalajel, ways to boost joint Arab health cooperation and enhance its fields.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 76th session of the World Health Assembly, which is being held in Geneva.

During the meeting, Al-Ghabbash expressed his thanks to Saudi Arabia for its humanitarian stance after the earthquake.

The Minister noted to the importance of strengthening health cooperation between the two countries, especially in terms of medical training and exchanging experiences, which will reflect positively on the peoples of the two brotherly countries.

In turn, al-Jalajel stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation in the health fields between the two countries.

He expressed his happiness with Syria’s participation in the meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers of Health held during the 76th session, which is the first ministerial meeting after the Jeddah summit, at which the Kingdom welcomed the issuance of the Arab League’s decision on the resumption of the participation of Syrian government delegations in the meetings of the Council of the League of Arab States.

He hoped that this will contribute to supporting Syria’s stability.
