Damascus, SANA – Prime Minister Wael al-Halaqi instructed the Local Administration Ministry to expedite the transfer of sites allocated for establishing new gas stations to Damascus Governorate so that these stations can be put into service as soon as possible.
During a weekly Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Premier al-Halaqi called for following up on the removal of infringements, curbing corruption, and evaluation state administrations periodically, stressing the need to control spending and limit squandering.
Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem briefed the Cabinet on the latest political development in the region and the world, noting that there is a new popular and political movement in several Western countries for restoring relations with Syria, which is a positive indicator showing that there is true understanding of what is happening in Syria.
Likewise, Deputy Prime Minister for Services Affairs, Local Administration Minister Omar Ghalwanji reviewed the state of the services sector, asserting that the health sector is prepared to deal with any potential epidemics or endemics in all areas, and that no such cases have been recorded, barring a few instances of hepatitis that received the necessary treatment.
