Authorities in Qamishli seize large quantity of drugs

Hasaka, SANA-Competent authorities in Qamishli city on Thursday seized a large quantity of captagon tablets inside a fuel tank in the countryside of the city.

A police source told SANA that after receiving information about an activity of a gang that smuggles drugs, and following pursuance and monitoring, the competent authorities stormed into one of the gang’s dens in Qamishi countryside, seizing hundreds of kilograms of Captagon tablets that were hidden in a fuel tank.

The source said that the authorities arrested one of the drug traffickers and are now hunting the other members to bring them all to justice.
