Syrian- Belarusian talks on enhancing cooperation in different fields

Minsk, SANA- Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus, Sergey Kovalchuk, discussed with the Syrian Ambassador to Belarus, Muhammad al-Omrani, relations of cooperation and ways to enhance them in the two fields of tourism and sports.

Al-Omrani stressed the Syrian Ministry of Tourism willingness to develop bilateral ties and how to benefit from the large tourism potentials existing in the two countries, which could include holding joint tourism activities in Damascus and Minsk, as well as signing an executive program for the tourism cooperation agreement and organizing visits of Belarusian tourist delegations to Syria.

In turn, Kovalchuk expressed the readiness of the Belarusian side to boost cooperation with Syria in the above-mentioned fields, and to discuss the proposals of the Syrian Tourism Ministry and put them into practice.

Kovalcuk stressed the deep-rooted relations binding the two countries in different fields.
