Syrian students in Slovakia: We stand with our homeland to confront embargo

Bratislava, SANA-Syrian students studying in Slovakia renewed their stand by their homeland in the face of the terrorist war and the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on the Syrian people.

In a statement issued Wednesday by the National Union of Syrian Students branch in Slovakia the students said that on the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the union, which is the Syrian Arab Student’s Day we remember the struggle of the first student, leader and founder Hafez al-Assad, who launched this union to be a platform and a bridge for our free students to defend their causes and to create a generation of pioneers of students who provide the country and its institutions with their expertise after their graduation.
