A Serbian aid plane arrives at Damascus Int’l Airport

Damascus, SANA- A Serbian aid plane, carrying relief materials for the quake-affected people, arrived Monday at Damascus Airport.

“The plane is loaded with 105 tons of foodstuffs and medical supplies, including an electrocardiogram (EKG), X-rays devices and other medical devices to provide medical services for the people in earthquake-stricken areas,” Serbian Ambassador to Syria, Radovan Stojanovic, said.

Ambassador Stojanovic added that this aid which is provided by the Serbian government and people, is an expression of solidarity with the Syrian people.

He stressed that more aid will be provided to support the country in confronting the repercussions of the devastating earthquake.
