A 4.2 magnitude earthquake strikes eastern Turkey

Ankara, SANA- An earthquake measuring 4.2 on Richter scale hit east of Turkey on Monday.

The quake occurred at a depth of five km, 38 km southeast of Malatya, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

No information reported of any damage or injuries due to the quake.
