Two earthquakes measuring 4 magnitude hit off north west of Homs city

Damascus, SANA- Two earthquakes of a medium intensity struck the northwest of Homs city on Saturday evening.

The National Earthquake Center said that a 4.3 magnitude earthquake was registered near the Syrian-Lebanese border,30 km northwest of Homs city.

The quake occurred at 16:32 p.m. local time at a depth of 10 kilometers.

Residents of Homs, Hama, Tartous, and Lattakia felt the earthquake.

Another earthquake measuring 4.2-magnitude on the Richter scale jolted hit near the Syrian-Lebanese border ,39 km west of Homs at 17:27 local time.
