Two Syrian Poets win prizes of Al-Tayeb Saleh competition for creative writing

Khartoum, SANA, The Syrian Poet Hasan Ibrahim Hasan gained the first place in poetry within Al-Tayeb Saleh fifth international prize competition for creative writing for his collection “Autumn of the Medals”.

The results were announced by the competition’s board of trustees in Khartoum, where another Syrian Poet Feras Farzat Qattan gained the third place in the competition, while the second place went to the Iraqi Isamil Sayyah.

About 335 poets from 21 Arab and African countries, in addition to India, France, Turkey, Britain and Australia, participated in the competition.
