Russia tests drones capable of transporting people and cargo

Moscow, SANA- Russia has tested a prototype of a new drone capable of transporting people and cargo.

Novosti Agency quoted the Aviation Research Institute of the Russian Zhukovsky University as saying in a statement today “Experts affiliated with the institute have begun testing a model of a promising drone.”

The statement noted that the institute’s specialists began testing the air dynamics of the new drone, and studying its aerodynamics during flight and during take-off and landing.

According to the statement, the new aircraft consists of a basic structure with a semi-oval shape, on which 4 axes carrying moving propellers are installed, which ensure the propulsion of the drone in the air, and help in its vertical takeoff and landing.
