Damascus, SANA – The People’s Assembly on Monday discussed with Labor Minister several issues related mainly to employment.
MPs spoke of the need of providing job opportunities for new university graduates and activating the role of employment offices to that end, stressing that special attention should be paid for families of martyrs.
They also referred to the problem of discharged employees, calling for tackling this problem and facilitating the reinstatement of employees who have been acquitted of the charges filed against them.
The Labor Minister said the Social Insurance Establishment is prepared to contribute to several investment projects in cooperation with concerned ministries and establishment to help create job opportunities.
