Moscow, SANA-About 5,000 Polish mercenaries are on the Zaporozhye battle line, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the ‘We Together with Russia’ movement, told TASS on Wednesday.
“The number of Polish servicemen (mercenaries – TASS), well, that is, Poles, who are on the Zaporozhye battle line already amounts to thousands of people. According to our information, there are about 5,000 [mercenaries] or even more,” he said.
Rogov, in particular, drew attention to the fact that a large number of Polish-speaking citizens are treated in some hospitals in Zaporozhye, a city controlled by Kiev.
The official also confirmed that mercenaries from 34 countries are currently fighting on the Ukrainian side.
