Dontsk, SANA -The Ukrainian armed forces shelled the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) 32 times over the past 24 hours, injuring two civilians, the DPR mission to the Joint Control and Coordination Center on issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported on Wednesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, the mission reported 32 facts of Ukrainian shelling,” the mission said in a message on its Telegram channel.
The DPR was shelled by Ukraine 32 times over the past 24 hours. The Ukrainian armed forces used NATO 155-mm calibe artillery, Grad multiple rocket launchers and mortars. A total of 143 pieces of ammunition were fired at the DPR.
Nine houses and two civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
In the meantime residents in the Kherson Region are being alerted to evacuate amid warnings of Ukrainian attacks.
Authorities in the Kherson Region have been sending emergency text alerts. An emergencies official confirmed this information to a TASS reporter.
Commander of the Integrated Group of Forces in Ukraine Army General Sergey Surovikin said on Tuesday that Russia’s Armed Forces had information that Kiev was preparing a massive missile strike on the Kakhovka hydro power plant. Authorities in the Kherson Region have also been alerted against potential Ukrainian strikes on Kherson and the region.
Earlier, the region’s acting governor Vladimir Saldo said civilians living on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson Region would be evacuated to the left bank. According to him, voluntary relocation will be arranged free of charge.
