Damascus, SANA – Interior Minister Gen. Mohammad al-Shaar on Saturday met members of the Anti-Narcotics Directorate, calling upon them to exert their best efforts to combat illicit drug trade.
Al-Shaar stressed the need to improve the training of personnel in all of the Directorate’s departments constantly, praising the Directorate’s personnel for their achievements in confiscating drugs and arresting drug dealers.
The Minister also inspected work at the Directorate’s crime labs and was briefed on the nature of the work there by the forensic specialists.
