Syrian-Iranian talks to upgrade cultural product

Tehran, SANA- Culture Minister, Dr. Lubana Mshaweh, on Tuesday discussed with Iranian Minister of Culture Dr. MohammadMehdi Esmaeili prospects of cooperation between the two sides to upgrade the cultural product in a way that contributes to fortifying the identity , building the intellect and strengthening the belonging.

During their meeting in Tehran, the two sides stressed the importance of exchanging artistic expertise in the music, cinema and plastic art fields.

Dr. Mshaweh stressed the need to accelerate the signing of the executive program with the Iranian Ministry of Culture and the Memo of Understanding (MoU ) between the National Museum in Damascus and the National Museum in Tehran, in addition to another MoU between al-Assad National Library and the Iranian National Archives as an evidence on continued cooperation between the two sides to serve the interests of the two friendly countries.

In a joint press conference, the Iranian Minister of Culture expressed his country’s readiness to cooperate with Syria in all fields.

He reiterated the depth of the historical relations between the two countries.

In turn, Dr. Mshaweh underlined the Syrian-Iranian deep-rooted friendly relations based on historical and cultural ties.

The Minister thanked Iran for standing by Syria in its war against terrorism and Takfiri powers.

She stressed that the two sides will work together on upgrading the level of cultural relations to reach the level of political relations.
