Moscow, SANA-Syria’s Ambassador in Moscow, Riad Haddad, discussed on Monday with special representative of the Russian President, Deputy Foreign Minister, Michel Bogdanov, the latest developments in Syria.
“During the meeting, the two sides exchanged points of view about the latest developments in Syria and the region in terms of the efforts exerted to boost a comprehensive settlement to the crisis in Syria, including Astana format,” A statement by Russian Foreign Ministry said.
The statement added that Bogdanov and Haddad also discussed issues related to ways of boosting multi-sided Syrian-Russian cooperation and keeping active political dialogue on the international and Middle Eastern issues.
