Hama, SANA- Official and popular representatives of the city of Salamyieh in the eastern countryside of Hama received a parliamentary delegation from the Republic of Paraguay headed by the President of the members of Senators and and the Consul of the Republic of Paraguay in Syria.
The purpose of the visit is to get to know the tourist, archaeological and religious monuments, and the social fabric that characterizes the city.
“the Western media against Syria and its people,” President of Senate of Paraguay Oscar Ruben Salomon Fernandez said in SANA remark.
He also stressed that the delegation was directly informed about the security and stability situation in various Syrian regions such as the capital Damascus , Mharda , and Salamyieh in Damascus countryside.
He praised the hospitality and good welcome of the friendly Syrian people and emphasized that Syria will continue to be strong and will remain the Gate of the East.
