Syrians in Slovakia condemn terrorist attacks on Syrian cities

Bratislava, SANA – Members of the Syrian community in Slovakia strongly condemned the cowardly act of the armed terrorist organizations that targeted the Syrian cities with mortar shells and rocket rounds last Thursday.

In a statement on Sunday, they voiced support to their homeland in facing terrorism, asserting that these terrorist acts will not dissuade the Syrian people from confronting extremism, terrorism and takfiri thought.

The statement called upon the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and unify efforts in combating terrorism.

It also called for drying up the sources of terrorism, supporting the countries which combat it and enhancing their national and military potentials, mainly Syria.

Last Thursday, terrorists fired more than 115 rocket shells on Damascus, 6 on Lattakia and 9 on Aleppo claiming the lives of 26 people and injuring 48, including children, women, and elderly people, in addition to causing massive material damage that is currently being assessed.
