A bronze medal, five certificates of appreciation for Syria in the International Mathematical Olympiad in Norway

Damascus, SANA-The Syrian Scientific Olympiad students gained a bronze medal and five certificates of appreciation in the 63rd round of International Mathematics Olympiad “IMO” 2022 hosted by Norway, on the 11th of July, with the participation of 589 students representing 104 countries from around the world.

The Excellence and Creativity Commission said in a statement on Friday that the bronze medal was won by the student Muhammad Ali Abdullah Houriya from Al-Saada Private School in Damascus, while the certificates of appreciation were won by each of the students Bana Muhanna from the Elite School in Aleppo and Haider Qasim from the First high school in Homs, Sariya Ramadan from Al-Saada Private School in Damascus, Mary Noel Seif Askar from Fahim Muhammad School in Tartous and Mustafa Akash from Jarir School in Aleppo.
