Syria, Pakistan discuss means to enhance trade cooperation

Islamabad, SANA- The Pakistani-Syrian Joint Business Council, in its third session, held Thursday, discussed ways for developing trade cooperation between Syria and Pakistan in various fields, including health, food and service, in the interest of the peoples of the two countries.

During the meeting, Chargé d’Affairs of the Syrian Embassy in Islamabad, Ambassador Mazen Obeid, highlighted the possibility of exporting Syrian products to Pakistan, praising Pakistani efforts made to develop trade with Syria.

Obaid referred to the needs of the Syrian market in the stage it is currently experiencing, reviewing Investment Law no. 18 of 2021, which allows investors to work in Syria and guarantees their rights.
