Syrian boxer Ghossoun qualifies for finals of 57-kg competitions in Mediterranean Games

Algiers, SANA- The Syrian national boxing team player, Ahmed Ghossoun, has qualified for the final round of the 75-kg weight competitions in the Mediterranean Games held in Oran, Algeria, after his winning in the semi-finals against French boxer Fendero 3-0.

With this winning, Ghossoun gained the silver medal and qualified for the finals to play the gold medal match with Algerian boxer Younes Nemouchi.

Earlier, Ghossoun beat Serbian boxer 2-1 in the first round, bearing in mind that Ghossoun won the gold medal of his weight competitions in the previous edition of the Mediterranean Games in Spain.
