Syria’s U-16 basketball team beats Indonesian counterpart in 2022 FIBA Asian Championship , Jordan

Amman, SANA- Syria’s national U-16 women’s basketball beat its Indonesian counterpart with 75/74 in the FIBA U16 Women’s Asian Championship Division B, which is currently being held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

Head of the Syrian Basketball Federation Tarif Qutrash hailed the remarkable performance by the team during the matches, noting that the federation seeks to return the Syrian basketball to the Arab and international podiums.

Syria’s national basketball team beat the Samoa team with a score of 75/63 in its first match of the tournament, while it lost to Philippines counterpart with 93/86.
