Damascus, SANA – The Damascus Securities Exchange (DSE) closed on Tuesday with transactions of 26,664 stocks in 32 deals with an overall value of around SYP 2.755 million, closing at 1,254.06 points, marking a decrease of 2.65 points from the previous session.
The stocks of Syria International Islamic Bank closed at SYP 102.58, marking a decrease of 1.81%.
The stocks of Cham Bank closed at SYP 97.53, marking a decrease of 0.8%.
The stocks of Baraka Bank closed at SYP 122.93, marking a decrease of 0.81%.
The stocks of Jordan Bank closed at SYP 89, marking a decrease of 0.84%.
The stocks of Qatar National Bank closed at SYP 112.9, the same price as in the previous session.
The Exchange’s Studies and Media Director Osama Hassan said that the Exchange’s performance indicators during the first few weeks of 2015 were flat as investors are still waiting for the annual financial reports of companies, as the reports are the main element that investors take into account when making decisions, adding that the companies’ performance reports for 2014 must be submitted within 45 days.
