Syria rejects military hostile acts of Turkish regime, Foreign Ministry says

Damascus, SANA- Syria rejects hostile military acts launched by Turkish occupation forces several days ago on parts of Syrian territories in the north , Foreign Ministry said, describing these acts as war crimes and crimes against humanity as they represent geographic and ethnic cleansing.

“The Syrian Arab Republic rejects those hostile acts, launched by Turkish occupation since many days on regions and towns in north-eastern side of Syria that claimed the lives of many civilians, inflected heavy losses to public and private properties, and displaced dozens of families,” An official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

The source added that the attempt of Turkish regime to establish the so-called “safe zone” on Syrian territories is a malicious act of aggression and part of the geographic and ethnic cleansing practiced by the government of Recep Tayyib Erdogan in the occupied Syrian  territories, describing them as war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The source affirmed that Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity will not be a subject of blackmail or bargain by the extremist Turkish regime in cooperation with its ally in Washington and with some Western countries that seek to gain cheap political targets at the expense of the Syrian people and their territorial integrity.
