Donetsk, SANA- Dmitry Kalashnikov, head of the Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination of the Ministry of Health of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), has announced that 117 children and minors were killed during eight years of Ukrainian aggression on the territory of the republic.
“According to our confirmed data, 117 children and minors under the age of eighteen have been killed in the territory of the republic and the Donetsk region over the past eight years, including 35 children who have died since February of this year, most of whom were victims of unexploded Ukrainian ammunition in April and May,” Kalashnikov was quoted by Russia Today as saying.
Kalashnikov said that with the decrease in the intensity of hostilities, children began to come out of hiding more often and find grenades, launchers, unexploded mines and other types of weapons left by Ukrainian militants and caused the death of innocent people.
