Moscow, SANA- Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said that over five days, more than 1,300 tons of humanitarian assistance have been delivered to Donbass residents and other regions in Ukraine.
“Since May 25th, the ministry has delivered more than 1,3 thousand tons of humanitarian assistance to Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics and other regions in Ukraine,” RIA Novosti news agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement on Monday.
The ministry added that the assistance included food, medicine and necessary supplies, and according to the statement, specialized units from the ministry are clearing the liberated areas from mines left behind by Ukrainian militants, as more than 27 thousand mines were dismantled.
Earlier in this month, the Russian army had delivered more than 40 tons of humanitarian aid to Kharkov area.
