Moscow, SANA- Russia stressed on Thursday that it will firmly respond to any country’s attempt to interfere in the special military operation carried out by Russian forces in Ukraine.
“We mainly depend on President Vladimir Putin’s statements since February 24 about Russia’s readiness to respond with the utmost decisiveness to any party that tries to infiltrate in one way or another into Ukraine or interfere in the special military operation that the Russian armed forces are currently conducting there,” Russian presidential spokesman, Dmitry Peskov said.
In response to a question about the possibility of a direct military confrontation between Russia and NATO, Peskov stressed that all parties wish to avoid this scenario.
Peskov said that before the start of the military operation, the Russian side and President Putin had done their best to avoid such an operation.
