Tehran, SANA-Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, affirmed Monday that President Bashar al-Assad’s visit to Tehran was held within an atmosphere of “fraternity and friendship,” and it has formed a new turning-point in the history of bilateral relations.
“President Assad’s meeting with Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ibrahim Raisi conveyed a message which stresses that relations between Syria and Iran are distinguished and inseparable.”
Abdullahian said in an interview with the Center for the Publishing and Preservation of Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei’s works.
He added that relations between the two countries have taken a new curve during the recent period as they included domains of comprehensive economic, commercial and tourism development in addition to the military and security track.
