Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to rise slightly to become from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is being affected by a weak superficial air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy in general, as there will a chance for showers over the coastal, southern, western and northern regions.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed with some active gusts over the southern and central regions, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
Different amounts have been registered in a number of provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: Hama 15mm, Homs 8mm, Tartous 6mm, Hasaka 5mm, Quneitra 3 mm, Sweida 1mm and Daraa 1mm.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 18/4, Daraa 16/5, Homs 16/7, Tartous 19/10, Aleppo 13/2.
