Above-average temperatures, showers expected in some regions

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 5 to 7 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while at night it will be cloudy with a little chance for thundershower over the coastal and southwestern regions, according to Meteorology Department Tuesday bulletin

The wind will be southwesterly with low to a moderate speed and some active gusts of 60 km/h in the western and southern regions, while the sea waves will be low in height

The bulletin added that expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 25/10, Daraa 26/10, Homs 24/9, Hasaka 22/9, Tartous 25/14, Aleppo 20/8, Deir Ezzor 26/9
