Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain below average as the country is affected by a superficial high pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds, while at night, the weather will be cold over the mountains and fog is expected in most inland areas, according to Monday bulletin of the Meteorology Department.
The wind will be of changeable direction with a low speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
It is notable that over the past 24th hours, several areas in different provinces witnessed rainfalls, the highest was in Sweida 16mm.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 18/6, Daraa 20/9, Homs 16/9, Hasaka 20/9, Tartous 22/14, Aleppo 19/9, Deir Ezzor 21 /11.
