Moscow, SANA- Activities of the International Army Games 2021 continue at the Alabino training ground in Moscow suburbs where a team of the Syrian Arab Army participate in the tank biathlon competition, which is the most important of these games.
The first formation of the army team began its participation in the framework of a group of four countries that included, in addition to Syria, Mongolia, Vietnam and Venezuela.
The first Syrian formation ranked fourth, crossed the race track with obstacles and barriers in 37 minutes and 2 seconds, while the Mongolian team ranked first with 24 minutes and 4 seconds, the Vietnamese team came second with 24 minutes and 58 seconds, and the Venezuelan team ranked third with 31 minutes.
The second formation of the Syrian Arab Army participated last Thursday in the second round of the competitions and ranked the second place crossing the racetrack in 29 minutes and 24 seconds.
The latest results for the individual races indicate that the Russian team has ranked first and second so far, and the Chinese team has ranked third and fourth, while the Kazakh team has coome in fifth.
The military competitions which started on the 23rd of the current month will continue until the 4th of September in which Military teams from more than 40 countries in Europe, Asia, America and Africa take part in the competitions as the servicemen demonstrate their skills in 34 various military competitions.
This year, the activities of the Army Games 2021 take place at training grounds in 11 countries, including Russia, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan.
