Damascus, SANA- The Joint committee of the Wounded of Homeland project decided to allocate material prizes to the wounded who achieve advanced results in all competitions of the Wounded of Homeland” Sports Games.
The Wounded of Homeland project said that SYP 900 thousand will be awarded to the wounded who win the first place, SYP 800 thousand pounds to the winners of the second place and SYP 700 thousand to the winners of the third place.
The opening ceremony of the Wounded of Homeland” Sports Games will take place on Friday evening at Lattakia Sports City, and the competitions of swimming, ping-pong, basketball, badminton, athletics and physical strength games will kick off on Saturday tomorrow.
92 war wounded from Syria, and war wounded from Russia and Iraq participate in the competitions.
