Damascus, SANA – Albanian Ambassador to Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan Mark Gharib expressed appreciation for efforts of the Syrian state for help to
the Albanian nationals, including 5 women and 14 children, from al-Hawl Camp in Hasaka province to their home.
Gharib’s in a statement to journalists at Damascus International Airport on Saturday evening, before his departure, accompanied by the Albanian nationals said that the task of repatriating the Albanian women and children, numbered 19, from al-Hawl Camp is the third of its kind in a year and a half, which was carried out , in cooperation and facilitation of the Syrian authorities.
The US occupation –backed QSD militia are holding thousands of displaced families along with thousands of other foreign families and their children in tragic health and social conditions and lack of services, shortages of food, clean water and medical care.
The Albanian Ambassador called on all the countries which have nationals at those camps to return them to their homes, in a way that would reflect positively on situation in the region.
