Russian Defense Ministry: Jabhat al-Nusra carries out assaults, plans for chemical attacks in de-escalation zone, Idleb

Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry said that terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization deployed at the de-escalation zone in Idleb, have carried out 37 attacks on safe areas in Idleb, Lattakia, Aleppo and Hama in parallel with preparing to fabricate a chemical attack to accuse the Syrian Arab Army.

In a press statement, Deputy Head of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim, General, Vadim Kolit said that the terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization have committed 37 attacks on safe areas in four provinces, out of which 19 attacks in Idleb, 10 in Lattakia, 2 in Aleppo and 6 in Hama.

On June 12, the terrorists deployed at the de-escalation zone in Idleb carried out 38 assaults in the same aforementioned provinces, causing the martyrdom and injury of a number of civilians, in addition to material damages to the properties.

In a related context, the Russian center noted that the terrorists plan to carry out attacks using toxic chemicals to accuse the Syrian Government of using them.

A source in Foreign and Expatiates Ministry on Tuesday evening said that the terrorist organizations and “White Helmet” group continue to prepare for terrorist acts through using toxic chemical weapons in some areas in Idleb and Hama to accuse the Syrian Arab Army, asserting that what the terrorist groups are doing is supported and ordered by the US, some Western countries and Turkish regime Intelligence.
