Palmyra, SANA-Two civilians were martyred and another was wounded on Saturday by a landmine explosion left behind by Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization in Jabal Abu Rajmin area, about 50 km north of Tadmour (Palmyra).
Director of Palmyra National Hospital Dr. Walid Audeh told SANA reporter that the staff of the hospital had performed the first aid for an injured who suffered chest wounds and various fractures as a result of the mine explosion before transferring him to a hospital in Homs.
Before their retreat from the region, the terrorist organizations had planted thousands of landmines and IEDs in places of their spread, towns and agricultural lands, some of which were manufactured in developed manner under the supervision of foreign experts, which makes the process of discovering and dismantling the mines more complicated.
