Clear to cloudy weather, rains over coastal region expected

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain around or slightly above average as the country is affected by a low air pressure from the southeast, accompanied by wet western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in general, local rain showers are expected over the coastal region in the evening and the weather will be cold in the mountainous areas at night.

  The wind will be westerly to southwesterly between low and moderate in speed, and the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 19/8  ,Homs  17/7  ,Aleppo 17/7 ,Lattakia 18/12 ,Tartous 20/12  ,Hama  19/7.
