Al-Kuzbari: fourth round of the Committee of Discussing the Constitution discussed national principles and return of refugees

Geneva, SANA -Head of the national delegation to the meetings of the Committee of Discussing the Constitution,  Ahmad al-Kuzbari stressed on Friday that the fourth round of the Committee meetings, which was concluded today, dealt with several topics, including national principles, the file of the return of refugees, and the rejection of any separatist scheme for the Syrian territories, in addition to the humanitarian file.

Al-Kuzbari , in a press conference in Geneva, added that the national principles were discussed during the third and fourth round, during which the national delegation submitted a number of principles represented by national identity and cultural diversity.

He added that during this round, the delegation presented interpositions on the file of the return of refugees and rejection of any separatist scheme for the Syrian territories, in addition to the issue of the humanitarian file because it affects all Syrians, and lifting unjust unilateral coercive measures imposed by some countries on the Syrian people.

Al-Kuzbari clarified that the proposals presented by the national delegation were all important matters affecting the Syrian people, but there was no in-depth discussion about them by the other party who proposed issues that are not on the session’s agenda, and they have not been answered because their date is in the next round.

In response to a question about what happened in the last session Al-Kuzbari clarified that there was a breach of the code of conduct and procedures by the other party’s chairman, which made some members of the national delegation to object.
