Temperatures around average, thundershowers expected

Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will remain around average or slightly higher as the country is affected by a low air pressure coming from the south and accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin, that the skies will be partly cloudy in general with an opportunity of thundershowers over different areas across the country, while at night the weather will be relatively cold, particularly over the mountains.

The wind will be easterly to southeasterly with a low to moderate sped and sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 18/14, Daraa 21/14, Homs 20/13, Lattakia 25/21, Aleppo 21/10 and Deir Ezzor 23/11.
