Moscow, SANA- Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Council, Pyotr Tolstoy, affirmed that the repeated provocations of terrorists by using chemical weapons in Syria and their attempts to mislead world public opinion have become exposed to all.
“Terrorists who try to deceive the international community through media terrorism and creating repeated provocations in Syria will receive appropriate punishment,” Tolstoy said in an interview with SANA correspondent in Moscow on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs’ Committee at the Russian State Duma council , Leonid Slutsky, affirmed that manipulation in the chemical weapons file has been happening for a long time, adding that any provocations in this regard to accuse the Syrian state are doomed to failure and will not receive any support.
Slotsky pointed out that “the terrorists who are present in Idlib are trying, again and again, to carry out provocations using toxic substances to turn the world public opinion against Syria”, referring in this context to the Turkish regime’s attempts to cover up terrorist organizations in Idlib, such as “Al-Nusra Front” and others.
