Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will continue to gradually rise to become around average or slightly higher in the coastal and northern regions and they will be from 3 to 6 degrees above average in other areas as the country is affected by a superficial low pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear and the weather will be hot in general with some scattered clouds while the weather will be misty and very hot in the eastern, al-Badia “semi-desert” and al-Jazeera regions.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and it will become active with dusty conditions sometimes in the inland areas while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 36/19, Daraa 35/19, Homs 33/18, Lattakia 29/20, Aleppo 31/25 and Deir Ezzor 43/27.
