Damascus, SANA- Chairman of the boards of “the national box for social subsidies” decided on Tuesday to pay a compensation of 100 thousand SYP to each day laborers who were affected by the preventative measures taken by the government to confront the corona virus.
The first payment will cover 20 thousand labor in the tourism sector.
During the meeting which was led by prime minister, Imad Khamis, the ministry of social affairs and labor was commissioned to continue the mechanism of verification for all data of the registered lists on the digital channel and the priority of paying for the most affected labors.
