Plane transporting more than 260 Syrians from UAE arrives in Lattakia

Lattakia, SANA – A Syrian Airlines plane carrying more than 260 Syrians who had been stranded abroad arrived at Lattakia International Airport, coming from Sharjah Airport in the UAE.

Head of the General Health Programs Department at Lattakia Health Directorate Dr. Wafaa Halloum said medical teams received the passengers, conducted general tests, and provided assistance to those who need it.

Halloum said another team sanitized the passengers’ luggage, then the passengers were sent via buses to the quarantine centers set up at La Mira and Blue Beach hotels where they will stay for 14 days to ascertain that they are not infected with the Coronavirus.
