Hasaka, SANA- General Company for Drinking Water in Hasaka Province started to pump drinking water from Alouk water plant into Hasaka city after water have been cut off by Turkish regime’s forces and their mercenaries of terrorist organizations for more than 11 days as they have established control over the plant and prevented the workers from entering and operating it.

Director General of the Company Mahmoud al-Okla told SANA reporter that the workshops of the company entered on Thursday morning the plant and started to operate it as the process of pumping the water to al-Hemma station, west of Hasaka city has been resumed as a first step, then towards the company’s tanks in the city and to be pumped later to the city’s neighborhoods.

Over the past 11 days, the Turkish regime’s forces and their mercenaries of terrorists prevented the workers of the company from entering the plant and operate it, but attempts to pump water to the locals of Hasaka, in coordination with the Russian side, have failed.

Three days ago, an attempt to pump water was made as a limited amount of water was pumped, but it stopped due to the mercenaries of the Turkish regime.

The Drinking water Project in Alouk water plant in the countryside of Ras al-Ayn City is considered the main source for ensuring water for more than 700 thousand people in Hasaka City and the surrounding areas.
