Grospic: Recent Israeli attack on Syria criminal act, internationally rejected

Prague, SANA_   Head of the Czech Parliamentary Committee for Friendship with Syria Stanislav Grospic has stressed that the latest Israeli attack on Syria is “a criminal act that is internationally rejected and condemned.”

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Prague on Saturday, Grospic said “the Israeli aggression violates international law and leads to the escalation of tension in the region”.

He reiterated Syria’s right to defend its sovereignty.

Grospic reiterated that all peace-loving peoples should have a common goal which is defeating terrorism and achieving stability in the region and confronting the state terrorism being practiced by the Zionist entity to dominate this region.

Last Wednesday, the Syrian air defenses repelled a heavy Israeli missile attack against the vicinity of Damascus, destroying most of the missiles before they reach their targets. The attack claimed the lives of two civilians and injured others.
