Pedersen: Next round of mini-committee meetings on November 25

Geneva, (SANA) – The UN Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen has stressed that the discussions in the first round of meetings of the mini-committee to discuss the constitution were professional.

“The committee discussed many important issues, mainly Syria’s unity, sovereignty and independence, as well as continuing the fight against terrorism,” Pedersen told a news conference in Geneva on Friday.

He pointed out that the next round will start on November 25 .

Pedersen hoped that the start of the Committee work will contribute to finding a political solution to the crisis in Syria in a way that achieves aspirations of the Syrian people.
