Vershinin: U.S. attempts to strengthen military presence near oilfields in Syria “unacceptable”

Moscow, SANA-  Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin stressed that the U.S. attempts to strengthen its illegitimate military presence near oilfields areas, northeast of Syria is “unacceptable”.

Sputnik News Agency quoted Vershinin as Saying in a statement to the press Tuesday that any behavior through which the U.S. tries to reinforce its illegitimate military presence northeast of Syria is a violation of the international law and is unacceptable.

Washington tries to complete its colonial role in Syria and the region whether on the political or military levels through its forces which are stealing the Syrian oil, and this is what had been confirmed by the Russian Defense Ministry recently as it published photos of oil tanks smuggling oil from Syria under the guard of the US military.
